Background

For Hanna Andersson, video reinforces the brand’s values—like durability, softness, and timeless design—in a way that static images can’t. They were looking to up-level their video capabilities beyond just the internal team using cell phone footage.

Challenge

The challenge was time and budget. Photography was king and had priority, so video had to be squeezed in between photography setups. Video had direct the talent quickly as often times they were needed to change wardrobe and had to use whatever lighting and props from the photography setup as there was no time to reset a scene.

Budgets for video were small so video personnel and equipment needed to be streamlined for efficiency yet be as dynamic and cinematic as possible

Solution

Little Rumble provided a master DP who was uniquely creative, deliberate in execution and wonderfully whimsical in directing children. Using cinematic yet cost effective tools the DP was able to increase the capture without being held back by time consuming gear.

He also locked into the brand ethos and became a trusted partner with the brand until operations moved to New York.
