Background

For the first time in the iconic brand’s history, Mattel wanted to research why and how people of all ages play. They wanted to position themselves as authorities in the educational space of “play” for not only the United States but globally.

Challenge

Getting the data is one challenge but once you get the data you must share it so that it is comprehensive yet digestible. How do you take on such a massive project and convey the information to the world beyond just a digital report with data and imagery?

The internal marketing team at LAIKA was already overwhelmed with creating marketing material for the film and needed to look outside the company for help…a task which they had never done before for a project of this magnitude.
